I really wanted to finally make some holiday cards this year. Over the past months I had all sorts of ideas on how to do it, but after I’d carved my first stamps, it was quickly decided that I would make stamped holiday cards. Quickly decided, but not quickly made; I finished them this weekend and will go hand-deliver them tomorrow. Just in time.
I made a stamp for the snow, that I applied three times, a stamp with a mirror image of “happy holidays” and a small tree stamp. I tested several different designs before I settled on the final one, adding a golden ribbon around the bottom with a pen. Any excuse to use my gold pen. It was a super fun and relaxing project and a great excuse to practice my carving skills.
Did you make your own cards this year or maybe in a previous year? I’d love to see them!

Even cuter irl :)
These are lovely! I love handmade cards and I made a few this year, some stamped and some stitched. They aren’t always the fastest route but always more heartfelt. I am enjoying seeing your journey through stamp carving and you have inspired me to carve some myself!
